Learner Needs
The aim of the project was to target specific individuals or groups of learners with learning difficulties in order to enhance their education experience and possible progression routes.
Specialist software enhances the learning experience. Use of technology assists in enabling LLD learners to gain new skills in living and also preparation for the work environment. This gives greater confidence to seek employment and the technology allows learners to be supported in employment as they have been in college.

Technology
Here you can see the key technologies used within this project.Click on the links to find out more about each of the technologies.
The challenge to the college was the accessibility of technology in the workplace (work placement) and at certain learning areas/points in the college. We needed to access technology that would allow us to develop transferable skills to the workplace and in non threatening learning areas in the college.
This type of technology is needed to assist students in an area of learning where technology has not been fully utilised to support LLD students. We have found that students are all comfortable with IT and that the purchase of equipment supports learners to access their learning in and outside contact time.
