Askham Bryan is a land-based residential college located on the outskirts of York, offering courses from Entry Level through to Degree as well as Work Based Learning and Train to Gain.

Courses are offered in Horticulture and Landscape Industries, Engineering, Animal Management, Equine, Food and Farming, Skills for Work and Life.

Centres are also found in Bedale, Harrogate, Pickering, Thirsk and Guisborough and they provide selected Animal Management Courses at Middlesbrough College, Wakefield College and the Yorkshire Coast College at Scarborough.

The team opened MY Eco Café - an employability training project for people with learning difficulties, which operates from the Academy premises in York. The project is destination focused on the progression to paid work and all trainees are supported in jobsearch, applications and receive in work job coaching.

    Huddersfield Technical College is now part of the newly enlarged Kirklees College, based in the Huddersfield–Dewsbury conurbation of West Yorkshire.     Joseph Priestley College is a Further Education College serving the communities of South Leeds, through 3 main sites in Beeston, Morley and Rothwell as well as a number of community based venues.

    The College employs 400 staff. In 2005-06 the College recruited around 600 full-time learners and 6,000 part-time learners who range in age from 12 to 65+. Of these 14.3% declared themselves to have a learning difficulty or disability. The College offers a substantial range of courses specifically for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities, currently having 94 learners on Foundation Studies courses. British Sign Language courses are available from Levels 1 to 3.

    Across the College, members of staff are involved with a wide range of external organisations representing the interests of disabled people.

    Leeds City College is the largest Further education establishment in the City of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, with around 57,000 students, 2,300 staff and an annual turnover of £78 million. It officially opened on 1 April 2009 and was formed from three large colleges, Park Lane College, Leeds Thomas Danby College and Leeds College of Technology.

    On 1 August 2011 the college expanded further with the merger of the three sites of Joseph Priestley College in Rothwell, Beeston and Morley.       Vine is a Leeds City Council service that offers opportunities for learners with severe learning difficulties and those who have complex needs. All learners have a learning plan based on their individual needs. Learning With Life is a network of excellence which aims to provide learning and training opportunities for young people aged 19–25 who have learning difficulties, disabilities or any wider range of individual support needs.       Wyke Sixth Form College opened in 1988 and was originally intended for 16 – 19 year olds in the western part of Hull, but it very quickly gained a wider reputation beyond the city.

      Today many young people at schools in the East Riding of Yorkshire decide to study at Wyke after they finish their GCSE examinations. The reputation of Wyke Sixth Form College now reaches beyond. Quite apart from international links that the College has developed, there is a growing number of young people coming to study at Wyke from all around the world.

      The new York College is now open on the Sim Balk Lane site, on the south western gateway to York. The landmark £60 million campus is one of the biggest building projects of its kind in the country.
