Learner Needs

There is a need to enable many more students with a wide range of learning difficulties and physical disabilities to access lightweight, portable, but powerful IT devices.

The technology supports and enhances learning in a broad variety of ways, both in classroom situations and whilst studying independently in college and at home.

This video shows students giving their own feedback on various technologies and outlining how the equipment is helping their learning.

The Learning Support and Foundation Departments have been significantly enabled in their desire to work with developing young people, using current and emerging technologies that support and enhance learning.

Many of the learners have seen and reported significant differences to their learning experiences in the short time that this project has so far been running.
